Nadja Buttendorf is a Berlin based jewellery and nail artist specialized in questions of cybernetic enhancements of the human body, alien speculative scenarios and posthuman jewellery. She is a founding member of the Cyborgs e.V. Berlin and is known to have coined the term 'Explants'.
Nadja studied from 2006–2012 at the Burg Giebichenstein, University of Art and Design Halle, in the Plastic Arts/Jewellery departement. She holds a diploma degree in visual arts.
